Strong parent-teacher partnerships, based on mutual respect and shared goals, have a positive effect on student learning.

The Parent-Teacher Partnership Model is intended to lead to changes in parent and teacher knowledge, attitudes, and dispositions necessary to establish effective parent-teacher relationships for the purposes of improving student success.

Parents and teachers commit to attending four 90-minutes sessions throughout the year. The sessions will be co-facilitated by a trained parent and teacher facilitator team from Maple Heights.  Sessions will be held as follows:

                    3/1/18 @ Barack Obama School, 6:00-7:30 p.m.*
                    4/19/18 @ John F. Kennedy School, 6:00-7:30 p.m.*
                    *5/8/18 @ Board of Education, 5:30-TBA*

Childcare will be available. Light snacks will be served.

*Please note the new times/date highlighted above.
