WELCOME AND THANK YOU FOR VISITING OUR WEBSITE!
May 2013

As we near the end of the 2012-13 school year I would like to first congratulate the graduating class of 2013!  We have so many outstanding seniors that have accomplished so much – this class has students that hold State and National offices, and consists of students and teams that have competed and won at the State and National level in both academic and athletic competitions. I am also proud of the 23 seniors who were the first cohort to graduate in our collaborative with Cleveland State University where these students earned the equivalent of one-half a year of college coursework from CSU professors right in the classrooms of Maple Heights High School!

I am pleased to announce that as of January 2013 our $110 million building project has been completed and all five academic buildings for our students are brand new with state-of-the-art technology!  We have completed this project on time and under budget. Thank you once again to the community and residents of Maple Heights for making the education of our children a top priority by supporting the bond issue of 2008.

Parents, as we near the end of school, please take advantage of the educational opportunities we have in our community for your children. The Maple Heights Schools have summer school and camps for students, the Maple Heights Library is a great resource for learning and most of our community churches have programs throughout the summer to keep our children involved in positive activities. Research shows that students who continue learning throughout the summer have the most success in school!

I would like to wish our staff, students and families an enjoyable summer break.
