The 2011-2012 school year in Maple Heights will be filled with positive change!  Over the next twelve months we will see students learning in new schools at every grade level, starting with students in pre-k through grade 1 and grades 6 through 8 this Fall.  Thank you once again to our community for supporting and co-funding these projects.   

Congratulations to our students who this past school year achieved at the highest levels both in and out of the classroom.  We have more students than ever taking advanced placement and college classes, and have seen our students place at the state level and qualify for national academic competitions.  Additionally, during this past year, our graduating class also earned over $1.5 million in scholarship money which is a tribute to their hard work. 

Our high school volleyball team completed the school’s first ever undefeated regular season and six of our team’s won LEL league championships.  Our wrestling team qualified for the state duals and the Maple Heights Football team won the school’s first ever football state championship, which was also the first team state championship in nearly 30 years for Maple Heights.

We will continue to strive for excellence in everything we do in the Maple Heights City Schools, and our successes can be attributed to the hard work and partnerships developed between school, family and community.  We look forward to another exciting year of success and celebration!
