Welcome from the Principal

Greetings Maple Heights High School Family!

My name is Dr. Markiel Perkins. I am your new Maple Heights High School principal. I am humbled and honored to serve as your school leader. I am looking forward to the new school year and I appreciate the support and warm welcome I have received from everyone. You all have made me feel like I have been part of the family for years, thank you! Please know, I will spend every waking moment to ensure MHHS is a safe, engaging, and a fun school for our scholars and our community. I will need your guidance and help in achieving this vision. We have a parent advisory group starting in September and I am asking motivated parents to participate in assisting us as we continue to make our school even stronger through public participation. Families, our focus this year will be making sure our young men and young women are in school, on time to school and class, and that we have a school community built on trust and love. We will focus on Mustang P.R.I.D.E. (Prepared, Respectful, Invested, Determined, and Engaged) as our foundation for everything we do. Again, thank you, and I hope to see you all very soon.
