About The District/History

The Maple Heights City School District is one of 612 school districts in the State of Ohio and one of 31 school districts in Cuyahoga County. The School District provides education to approximately 3,400 students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Additionally, the School District provides pre-school and other services to its students.

The members of the Maple Heights Board of Education are privileged to serve you and the children of this district.  It is our goal to provide the best educational experience to every student in our community.  We are proud of the strong working relationship amongst our team which includes highly educated, professional and experienced administrators, teachers, specialists, and support staff, the Board of Education, and parents.  Each day, we prioritize our decision-making process based on the needs of our students.
