Maple Heights Board Member Honored with Prestigious Community Service Award
The Maple Heights City School District is proud to celebrate Board Member HerBrina Shepherd, who has been selected as a recipient of the J. Maynard Dickerson Community Service & Activism Award in the Gray Award Category for the Class of 2025 Buckeyes Under 40, presented by The Ohio State University Black Alumni Society.
This distinguished honor recognizes young alumni who are making a positive impact through service, leadership, and community engagement. Shepherd will be recognized alongside a remarkable group of leaders and change-makers from across the country.
Shepherd shared her gratitude for this recognition, stating:
“I am truly humbled to be honored in this way. As a proud representative of Maple Heights, I carry our mission and Mustang Pride into everything I do. I’m grateful for the continued support of our students, staff, families, and community.”
