
This week, the Maple Heights City School District held its annual organizational meeting, during which the newly elected members of the Board of Education were formally sworn in. The district is pleased to welcome Carla Hunter, a newly elected board member; Alonzo Blackwell, who is a past Board President and current member; and Rosalind Moore, a former board member who has assumed the role of Board President. Additionally, Rachel Cheeks, a returning board member, has been elected as the new Board Vice President.
During the meeting, President Moore presented the newly structured Board Committees, along with the announcements of committee chairs, co-chairs, and members. She also guided the Board in approving several resolutions for the upcoming year. The Board of Education is dedicated to continuing its commitment to serving students, families, and the Maple Heights community.
