Next week we will have Spirit Week for Read Across America! This national reading celebration, launched by the National Education Association, encourages students to develop a love of reading and enjoy the magic of books.
Throughout the week, students will participate in themed dress-up days, classroom reading activities, and special literacy celebrations inspired by Dr. Seuss and other favorite authors.
We look forward to a fun-filled week of reading, learning, and school spirit!

We are excited to announce that Spirit Week is right around the corner! This special week is a fun opportunity for our students to show their school pride, build community, and enjoy creative themed days together. Spirit Week will take place from December 15th - 19th, and we encourage all students to participate.
Please help your child plan ahead so they can join in the fun each day. Participation is optional, but we hope everyone will help make Spirit Week a positive and memorable experience for our school community.

We are excited to Welcome you to JFK Elementary School! We are second and third grade central for the Maple Heights City Schools. It has been a wonderful summer however, we are excited to get the school year started. As educators, our goal is to help your child become independent, life-long learners. Not only do we believe that ALL children can learn, but we also believe that ALL children want to learn. We want to maintain an “I can” and “I will try” attitude with our students.
