At 3:15 PM, we begin safely dismissing almost 500 Pre-K–1st graders. By district mandate, the car pickup line cannot begin until all buses have loaded and departed. Please note that staff transitions occur at 3:45 PM and 4:00 PM.
Essential Procedures
Office Closed (2:30 PM – 3:30 PM): The front office closes and phone lines pause so staff can focus entirely on safely routing students. All pickup changes must be submitted in writing by 2:30 PM.
Consistent Routine: For safety, students should consistently be either Car Riders or Walkers. Please avoid changing methods day-to-day.
Walker Pickup: Walkers are picked up at the Main Entrance only.
Car Line Rules: Keep your official tag clearly visible in your windshield and remain inside your vehicle at all times. Do not walk up to the doors.
Smoother Pickups: Pre-K uses direct curbside service, and students wait in quieter classroom zones to easily hear their names. Staff are assigned to specific bus/daycare groups to ensure personal tracking.
Help Prepare Your Child: Practice having them listen and respond quickly to their first and last name.
