Hello Mustang Families,
As we begin the second semester, we wanted to send out a few reminders about our school policy regarding several important issues. Please read over this information carefully and if you have any questions, contact the school at (216) 438-6400.
Headphones and Cell Phones
Due to State Law, cellphones are not permitted to be used during the school day. As such, phones should be turned off and stored in the provided phone case. If your student has lost her/his case, please notify administration immediately and another storage device will be issued to your student. Any phone not in the storage device will be confiscated and placed in a locked room until a parent or guardian can come and pick it up.
In addition, over-the-ear headphones (i.e., Beats, Bose, Skull Candy, etc.) are not permitted in the building at all. Once detected, these items will be confiscated and secured in a locked room until a parent/guardian can come and pick them up.
Water Bottles
Only a clear, empty water bottle is permitted in the building. Please remove all liquids from your bag prior to entering the security line. District policy explicitly states: "Beginning the 2025-2026 school year, students will only be permitted to bring clear, plastic, empty water bottles to school. Stanley cups and other metal containers will NOT be permitted."
Hats & Hoods
Students must remove all head coverings, hoods, hats, masks, etc. prior to entering the security line to start the school day. They are not permitted to wear any head covering, hoods, hats, masks, etc. during the school day.
