HerBrinaShepherd

Maple Heights City School District is proud to share that HerBrina Shepherd has been selected to join the 2025 National Policy and Leadership Fellowship through School Board Partners (SBP). This year-long program is designed to support and empower elected school board members nationwide as they work to strengthen student outcomes through informed, student-centered governance.

As part of SBP’s Cohort, Ms. Shepherd will join other school board leaders from 30 states and 61 school districts, representing students nationwide. Fellows receive mentorship, policy coaching, and strategic guidance to further develop their leadership impact, particularly during national and local transition times.

“I’m excited to share that I have been accepted into the National School Board Partners Fellowship Program! This incredible opportunity includes both a mentor and a policy coach, which will help strengthen my leadership and advocacy in education,” said Ms. HerBrina Shepherd. “I believe this fellowship will be especially valuable in my role on the school board, particularly as we navigate changes with the new administration in our country. I look forward to this journey and the impact it will bring!”

Our board members understand that excellence requires strong leadership and continuous growth, which are key to advancing excellence for every student.
