ELEMENTARY CAMPUS

Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, the Maple Heights elementary campus will operate on a unified school schedule. Our elementary campus includes Abraham Lincoln School, John F. Kennedy School, and Barack Obama Elementary School.
The Maple Heights Board of Education approved the new elementary school schedule during the summer. Aligning the schedules of all three buildings will provide greater consistency across our elementary campus and make daily routines easier to coordinate, especially for families with children attending more than one elementary school.
Elementary Campus Schedule
Doors will open for walkers and car riders at 8:25 am. Students should not arrive before 8:25 am.
Breakfast will be available beginning at 8:25 am. Classes will officially begin at 8:45 am.
Students arriving after 8:45 a.m. are considered tardy. A parent or guardian must escort the student to the main office to sign them in before they report to class.
Parent pickup will begin at approximately 3:35 pm., Early student pick-up must occur before 2:30 pm.
Elementary Parent Pickup
The Elementary Campus, school buses and parent-pickup vehicles will use the back loop.
The back loop will close to all other vehicles beginning at 2:30 pm. Parent and visitor vehicles will not be permitted to enter while buses are present.
Parent pickup will begin at approximately 3:35 pm., after the buses have safely cleared the loop. Families should wait until staff members indicate that the loop is open before entering.
Once the loop opens:
Enter the back loop and proceed to the designated pickup location.
Remain in your vehicle. If a parent is walking onto campus, the child must be designated as a walker.
Provide the staff member with the name of the student or students you are picking up.
Students will be released from their supervised areas and directed to their vehicles.
Follow all staff directions and continue through the loop carefully.
These procedures apply to all Elementary students being picked up by a parent or another authorized adult
If you have any questions regarding the beginning , please do not hesitate to contact the school office (216) 438 - 6010. Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We look forward to seeing you at Open House on August 17th and welcoming our students back on August 19. Together, let's make the 2026–2027 school year an outstanding one!
Sincerely,
